Updates to the Design and Drawing for Production (DDP) Webpage
At the September 2023 Board of Regents meeting, the Board approved the permanent adoption of the . This technical amendment deleted the requirement that any arts course for which credit is awarded to meet the one credit requirement for graduation must follow a state or locally developed or adopted syllabus approved by the ¿ì²¥ÊÓÆµer. The amendment did not result in any change in current policy. DDP remains an approved course to meet the one unit of art/music credit requirement for graduation for all students. Only teachers certified in technology education or art education may provide instruction in DDP used to meet the one unit of art/music credit requirement for graduation. The DDP syllabus is available on the DDP webpage as a content guide to use as a framework for instructional approach and context.
