OHM BOCES Superintendent's Day - World Language Workshop - March 15, 2019
Over 50 world language teachers from the Central New York area attended this all-day session facilitated by the OHM BOCES team of Lou Baskinger, Lucille Matt, Donyce McCluskey, Greg Smith and Fred Valentini. ÌýAfter a keynote address on Shifts for World Languages by Candace Black from the ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ of Bilingual ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵand World Languages at the New York State ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵDepartment, participants spent the day collaborating on reviewing writing rubrics, calibrating scoring techniques, and developing sample student writing tasks for Checkpoints A and B.
