This Career and Technical ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ(CTE) content area is designed to explore self, family, and community to meet present and future responsibilities as family and community members. Family and Consumer Sciences ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵempowers individuals and families across the lifespan to manage the challenges of living and working in a diverse global society. Family and Consumer Sciences ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵprepares students for success in both postsecondary education and employment. Topics are varied, and may include any of the following units of study; individual growth and life readiness, human development and relationships, apparel and textile production and design, environment design and management, nutrition and wellness, and food systems and production.
